Comprehensive Efforts to Accelerate Non-Communicable Disease Services in the Era of COVID-19 in Indonesia’s Suburban Area

The COVID-19 crisis has disrupted non-communicable disease (NCD) services in primary health care, and NCD is one of the comorbidities that increase mortality patients. Efforts to accelerate were carried out with focus on two programs: development integrated polyclinic training community workers (CHW) at Tanara Community Health Center (CHC) Banten. a continuous team-based service system from Pos Pembinaan Terpadu (Posbindu)/integrated post CHC was for six months improve quality human resources help provide recommendations implementation services. At end program, there 26.1% number hypertension patients receiving treatment compared previous year, significant level knowledge CHWs after long-term mentoring (p < 0.001). require support all parties, ensure continuity these efforts, periodic monitoring evaluation are necessary.
